MOVTEK Account & Data Deletion

Effective Date: July 17, 2026

At MOVTEK PRIVATE LTD ("MOVTEK", "we", "our", or "us"), we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data.

If you have created a MOVTEK account and wish to permanently delete it, you may submit an account deletion request by email. We will verify your identity and process your request in accordance with our data retention obligations and applicable laws.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your MOVTEK account, please send an email to:

Please include the following information:

  • Your registered name
  • Registered email address
  • Registered mobile number (if applicable)
  • Company name (if associated with a business account)

To protect your account and personal information, MOVTEK PRIVATE LTD may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.

Processing Time

After successful identity verification, your account deletion request will normally be processed within 30 days.

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process has been completed.

Data That Will Be Deleted

Subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements, deleting your account will permanently delete or anonymize the following information:

  • User profile information
  • Login credentials
  • Contact information
  • Saved addresses
  • Preferences and account settings
  • Search history
  • Saved quotations
  • Uploaded documents (unless legally required to be retained)
  • Device notification tokens
  • Other personal information associated with your MOVTEK account

Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where required by applicable laws or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Shipment and booking records
  • Commercial transaction history
  • Tax invoices
  • Payment and financial records
  • Audit logs
  • Security and fraud prevention records
  • Information required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations

Retained information will only be used for purposes required by law or legitimate business operations.

Data Retention Period

Where data must be retained to comply with legal, accounting, taxation, contractual, or regulatory requirements, it may be securely retained for up to seven (7) years, or for such other period as required by applicable law.

After the applicable retention period has expired, retained data will be securely deleted or anonymized.

Important Information

Deleting your account is permanent.

  • You will no longer be able to access your MOVTEK account.
  • Your profile and associated personal data will be removed, except where retention is required by law.
  • If you wish to use MOVTEK again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
